As far as I know your character can be as young as you want and you'll still be able to move on the campaign map (I tested it with the age of 13). Edit: If you edit the age of somebody in Mount and Blade II Bannerlord in version 1.4, your changes won't apply on the next update. Because they'll add 160+ new lords and this will change the "lords Having the same issue. I like the roman like troops. However, for my next game I am thinking of branching out. What kingdoms/troops do you guys like to use? I dabbled a little with Khergites, not overly fond of all horse armies, to many memories of butchering them wholesale in Warband. Although horse archers seem rather brutal this time around. A sandbox should give you freedom if you want quests or not and/or if you want a banner or not. So far the campaign forces you to have a brother, to have a banner and to have quests that you didn't even had a choice to accept or not. This is SURELY NOT a sandbox. Steelwin66 • 3 yr. ago. It's not that much different to be fair, Sandbox is just for people who play a lot of runs and don't care for the main storyline. Yes, the lack of family makes me always play compaign and simply ignore the main quest. Having zero family to begin with is a huge drawback. It would be nice if you had that option when making a sandbox to have family. That is what kept me from doing one so far. A moderator of this forum has marked a post as the answer to the topic above. After deleting my 1.7.2 save, under the assumption that it wouldn't work anyways, I began to create a new character. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy/action role-playing game. The fundamental gameplay premise is the same as previous entries in the series: the player builds up a party of soldiers and performs quests on an overhead campaign map, with battles being played out on battlefields that allow the player to personally engage in combat 1aBmp2.
